Brand new (1 month) Arris S33 modem. My internet download speeds get reduced by 50% throughout the day. It lasts for several hours, then recovers to normal download speeds. The modem feels extremely hot, top, sides and especially the metal coax cable connection - almost too hot to touch.
Is the modem overheating, causing it to throttle the bandwidth?
