Brand New G34 Loss Power

I just installed the Arris G34 brand new router because Xfinity’s price went over $300.00 per month!  It worked great for about 4-hours then the power died! 

I unplugged the power supply and tried several outlets but the G34 would not power on. All I get when I plug it in is three quick flashes of the blue light then the light goes off. I had to reinstall the Xfinity router to write this.

I tested the power supply, and it is producing power the required 12.20 Volts DC.

I will return it to Amazon.  What a big pain. Think about going to a Motorola router.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Were there any power outages that might have caused this issue? As a last resort, you can try performing a factory reset.
