The only way I have logged into the web interface was with the coax cable disconnected. This isn’t helpful because it doesn’t show any data. I connect the coax cable and try again, browser says site can’t be reached and times out. Does Spectrum not allow access or something? This is my personal modem. Why can’t I access the web manager?

Please connect the modem directly to your computer using an Ethernet cable. Also, ensure that any VPN is turned off. Once that's done, kindly follow the steps in the link below to access the web-based interface (GUI) with the coaxial cable being connected.

spectrum has been great at blocking users out from being able to check the cable connections page because then they have to fix issues. this has been going on for a while.
