One of the posts for fixing slow wifi says that the automatic mode puts you on the most congested network in your neighborhood . I am trying to wrap my arms around this because I always thought that automatic selection would put you on the channel with the best RF stats like power, signal to noise or  carrier to noise ratio. Does anyone know what is behind the covers?

To rectify Wi-Fi congestion, routers are designed to automatically scan for the least congested channels and select the optimal one when the channel selection is set to automatic.

And, could you please help us with your product’s model number?
