How to change serial number - S33

How do I change the serial number for my S33 modem? The scanner grabbed the wrong number for my serial number. Thanks.

If you’re using the SURFboard Central app, you can enter the serial number manually by clicking the ENTER MANUALLY link below the OK button.

For what? You shouldn’t need it for anything

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
