How to change the configurations under upstream to mid-split on S33

How do you change the upstream Diplex to mid-split. According to specs it is configurable.

You can’t change any settings in the S33. If you’re on Xfinity Next Gen, you’ll need S34 that is certified for fast upload speed. The S33 is not.
