I can't seem to use 2 devices with this modem s33.  On second device it asks for Ip address, prefix length, then gateway address.  Xfinity says they don't have it. Does anyone know how I can get the gateway address? Or do I have to wait until Monday morning to contact arris cs.

S33 is the cable modem, and you can use only one port at the same time since both ethernet ports are activated with the same IP address.

I would suggest connecting the router with this modem to access the Wi-Fi with multiple devices

If one of your devices is a PC, you could try an “IPCONFIG /ALL” command at the command prompt. This should show you the "Default Gateway" & "Subnet Mask" for your network.

You may be able to derive the prefix length from the subnet mask. E.g. My subnet mask is “255.255.252.0”, which is prefix length “/22” (using CIDR notation). However it may be that the term “prefix length” usually refers to IPV6, in which case the /22 part may not be what you are looking for.

Hope this helps.
