Modem is only a few years old and lately it just drops internet for a few seconds multiple times a day. Picks it back up quickly without any reset or anything but obviously it gets fairly annoying.
I did a factory reset over the weekend hoping that would fix things and it has not changed anything. From what I’ve read online corrected errors in that OFDM channel aren’t concerning?
You have t3 errors and other errors that indicate line issues. STart with removing any splitters, amplifiers, or anything else in your line. Check the line for loose connectors, corrosion, kinked lines, or anything impacting the coax. I’d try direct connecting the modem right where it comes into the home to prevent issues in the walls
Check for loose connections in the wall that might affect the coaxial cable connections.
Make sure only one Ethernet connection is plugged into the SB8200 modem if it's your router.
Isolate the issue by connecting a computer directly to the SB8200 using an Ethernet cable, bypassing the router. Monitor the connection:
If the direct connection remains stable, the router might be causing the issue.
If the direct connection drops, try using a different Ethernet cable.
Check the cable signal levels to verify that they are within the acceptable range.
