I'm replacing my Xfinity modem with an S33. I can get my Deco Tp link wifi to work but ethernet ports from my devices do not see the internet. When I get the ethernet ports to work the deco tp link will not work? Im running my house throught a 24 port patch panel into a 24 port unmanaged netgear switch. However when I go back to the modem from xfinity I can get both to work with no issue.  Any help would be appreciated.

As confirmed, when a device is directly connected to the S33 modem, it successfully receives an internet connection. Similarly, the TP-Link Deco provides Wi-Fi connectivity when connected to the modem.

However, if you attempt to use both Ethernet ports on the S33 simultaneously, it will not establish a connection. Additionally, connecting the TP-Link Deco to the first port and a Net Gear unmanaged switch to the second port will also not work.

The S33 is a standalone cable modem and does not include a built-in DHCP server. As a result, when your internet service provider (ISP) activates the modem, it typically assigns only one public IP address, which supports a single internet connection.

If you wish to use both Ethernet ports on the S33 simultaneously, you would need to contact your ISP and request the activation of a second public IP address. However, please note that not all ISPs offer multiple public IP addresses for residential customers.
