I just set up a Surfboard S33.  After just a half hour or so, it was already hot.  Does this commonly happen with this model? Should I return it?

Is the modem so hot that it feels uncomfortable to touch or hold? Please note that it is normal for the modem to feel warm while functioning.

Good question. No, it is not that hot. 

From what I have now read, this model just runs pretty warm.  I was surprised that it warmed up so quickly but will now assume that there is nothing to be concerned about
