Purchased a S33 V2 but when I login to the Arris portal it states that the hardware version is V1.0. 

 

Do I actually own a S33 V2, or did they put a V1 in a V2 box. I searched this issue, and the only answer seemed like a canned response from the manufacturer saying they source components from the same places - this is not an answer to the question being asked.

To verify the modem status could you please check and confirm whether the serial number mentioned on the modem label and on the box are same.
