Spec-wise they look similar. OTOH, I’ve seen people pooh-poohing the Puma chipsets in the CODA56. What's the lowdown on that?

The guys will push you to the Arris S34 or Netgear CM3000 but I haven’t noticed a difference. I’ve used the CM3000 and the Coda56 (for testing) and performance wise, were pretty similar. Long term? That's the question and why some push for using non-puma devices.
If I had to buy them, I’d buy both from amazon and try each for a week. Return the one you don’t like
