My Xfinity Internet speed has upload speed of 200 Mbps, but I can get only 40Mbps. Their technician came and found his test tool could get 235 Mbps. He thinks something wrong with my S33 modem.

Can the S33’s firmware be updated? If yes, how do I do that? Thanks.

S33 is compatible with your speed plan since you have already done testing modem and test unit works fine we just need to check the cable signal level on the modem interface to isolate the issue so please just follow the steps mentioned on the below link to get the signal level on the modem.
