I have a Chromecast and 2 Chromecast-compatible TVs and numerous devices that connected before we changed router. The TVs and the chromecast have no trouble connecting to the same WiFi but no devices are ever found. Also the TV’s app has a remote control option that also stopped working since we changed router on all devices.
I set the firewll to custom and made sure casting wasn’t blocked. I even turned off the firewall. Still no luck. Any suggestions?
+41did you check with the supplier (google) to see if anything needs to be changed/reset for it to work with a new device?
I did a full factory reset on the chrome cast itself and the 2nd TV we got after the problem started.
+41but did you check with supplied of the chromecast to troubleshoot the issue. If everything else is working, maybe its something specific to their device
No, I didn't, because I have 3 different devices. 1 only came around after moving to this router, the other two have been reset and reconfigured without success

If, so for sure contact the maker of it. Because if ones working, the router isn’t blocking because if it was blocking, none would work.
Sorry, no, none of the Chromecasts are working. All our devices that can cast say they are finding no devices. The Chromecast and TV we've had a while worked fine until we got the router. The new TV doesn't work either
