I replaced the SB8200 modem with the S33 modem. In the app I click on REMOVE DEVICE, select the 8200, and click on NEXT. I click on YES in the “You are about to delete the last installed device.” The screen returns to the My Network screen and still shows the SB8200.

 

I then tried Add Device, and the two choices are SURFboard mAX or Gaming Bridge or Network Upgrade Kit. Neither relate to the new S33 modem.

 

Is it a waste of time to even use the app?

Try uninstall and reinstall the app.  If you have Android, you can clear the data in OS Settings > App > SBC.  

 

If all else fails, you might need to use another email address.
