The User ID & PW I set some years ago for my S33 Modom don't work anymore, so how can I recover and/or reset again from factory? Will this affect my registration with my cable company if I safely reset using reset button? Thanks.

You’ll have to perform a factory reset using the reset button and it will not affect your registration with the cable company.
