Not sure where to ask this question or if it should be a Question or a Conversation?? Either way, will try the General question forum.

I had very slow upload speeds (SB6190) so when the Cox Communication Tech came out he replaced the entire cable and connections from the side of my house to the outside pole. I also had rebooted/reset my modem (a few times by the book) and removed the wireless router.  When he tested the system afterwards he said:

You’re getting 32 good channels (or ?frequencies) down but only one channel/frequency up and that I should have four channels/frequencies up (SB6190)

I now have good up and down speeds but still wondering, does anyone know the answer as to why only one channel up?

The cable signal levels shown on the interface page reflect the signals sent by your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

If you see only one upstream channel listed, it means your internet connection is currently using just one channel to send data.

In short, your internet is transmitting through only one upstream channel.

Is that what you are seeing when you log into the modem under upstream bonded channels? I currently have 6 on my SB8200. While it’s possible there’s an issue with your SB6190, I’d suspect Cox provisioning/firmware over the hardware or wiring.
