That would be a no and it can go up to 800mbps.  If your ISP speed is below that, then I wouldn’t buy a new one until you have to.

Not possible. docsis 3.1 is a hardware change and not just a firmware change.

Sb6190 is  DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem best for cable internet speed plans up to 800 Mbps. Sorry to say in this modem we wont be able to upgrade to 3.1 docsis .
