My laptop is showing no Internet connection even though all my other devices are on line. My Internet provider tested all the equipment and says they are working properly. They suggested that my modem probably needs a wifi driver update. What should I do?

SB6190 is just a cable modem, its a plug and play device. It doesn't have inbuilt wifi on it so you will be connecting separate router to the modem. If the device is connected to router wifi network or to the router LAN connection you need to check with the router manufacturer only.
