Internet has been dropping the last two weeks because they are messing with the signal or something. Xfinity says everything working just fine on their end but I still have issues. No internet, wi-fi only. Is there a fix for this modem or is it just to outdated?

do you have a screensnip of the cable connections page and event logs? Those help check the connection back to the ISP.
