Trying to factory reset our SB6183. Connected it to my laptop with a ethernet cable using a docking station (laptop not connected to the internet). After agreeing to and clicking “Do you want to proceed?”, what is supposed to happen? It redirects me to a web page that just states there’s no connection.

In this case please make sure that the Wi-Fi on your laptop is OFF when the device is connected to the modem directly and try restarting modem then also try performing reset on the modem GUI after disconnecting coax cable by following the steps mentioned on the below link then check for the internet.
