SB6190 not approved by Spectrum but packaging says it is. Is this a spectrum issue or false advertising!

Although Spectrum/Charter has previously approved this modem, they will no longer facilitate new activations for this model. We suggest returning it to your place of purchase and exchanging it for our SB8200 or S33. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

The SB6190 typically comes with a 2-year warranty. If your device is still under warranty, I recommend visiting www.arris.com/consumersupport to contact Arris technical support for further assistance.

If the modem is out of warranty, I would suggest purchasing a new modem that supports DOCSIS 3.1 for better performance and compatibility.
