Good morning everyone,

 

I’ve been having my internet drop randomly and more frequently now, I have been trying to figure out what’s causing this issues, I have checked my router and went through them to see if it was them, but it doesn’t seem like it. So now I’m checking my modem. 

 

Here is my event log, sorry if its long. I’m just trying to figure out what all this means. I’m assuming this is what’s causing my internet to drop all of a sudden then come back?

 

My ISP is Xfinity, if there is anything else I can post that can help solve this issue please let me know.

I apologize for the inconvenience. that you are facing with your modem, the logs are Values read by technicians from the internet provider end, since the logs are what the coaxial cable transmits and the log screen on the router is the translator so can be easily read by them, the coaxial cable is owned by the Internet service provider.so sorry not sure about the event log 

If your Event Log is reporting a high volume of errors, this would indicate a potential CMTS signal issue. To troubleshoot these errors, we would like to note the cable signal levels being used by your (Modem).
