My SB6190 modem, the receive/downstream light (2nd light) is flashing green and not connecting to the internet. Xfinity says nothing is wrong on their end. Scheduled to have a technician come out but the earliest is in 4 days. Hoping to fix the issue before then. I can’t log into the web manager access page. My device is past warranty.

Try checking all the cable connections for loose/old/corroded connections and replace them if there are. If you can, remove any splitters in the line as those can degrade the signal if its a signal issue


No corroded lines. Direct connection, no splitters. Coax cable connected is run directly to box outside which runs directly into the ground line. Connected tight. Run through all tech support from Xfinity. Sending out technician.
