I have been with no internet for the last 2 days. I have gone through all of the usual troubleshooting tips to resolve this issue (change patch cable, coax cable, rebooted modem (6190) and router multiple times), I still have no internet connectivity. Tried to contact xfinity but that did not go so well… i could not talk to anybody.
Modem : Arris Surferboard SB6190 (6-month old)
- lights on the modem are white, blue, blue and white.
- I cannot get an ip from the modem when i connect directly to it with a computer (no coax connected).
- I cannot get an internet connection when connected to a router (Asus RT-AX68)
- I cannot get an internet connection when connected to a computer.
I think the modem is faulty. What do you think?
