How can I reboot the SB6190 remotely?  I’ve owned surfboard modems in the past that I have been able to reboot via the web interface, but I don’t see the option there for this modem.

If not through the web interface, can I SSH or telnet into it?  My cable provider can reboot it remotely.

Thanks,
Justin

The SB6190 is a plug-and-play cable modem with no configuration required. Even if you log in to the web interface, you can only view signal levels and DOCSIS status, etc. There are no options for remote rebooting, if you need to reboot the modem, it must be done manually.

To remotely manage your network, you need to do so through the router. If you're using a third-party router, check with the manufacturer to see if they offer remote management options.
