I got new modem but unable to connect because I don’t have default id and password

Your ISP actives the modem. Or you can do it using their app and the mac address on the modem. 

Have you done this? 

what actual device do you have? 

 

(factory reset the device, push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on. then the default login/password should work on the label)

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
