I geolocated my IP address and it reports in the wrong city. Is this a function of my ISP or is a function of my modem (SB6190) ? I requested this be changed through MaxMind.com but wanted to understand how this is happening.

IP address to the modem will be provided by the service provider while activating device so if your modem shows different location its on the IP address that your modem is getting. To fix this please do contact your internet service provider and check for the IP, change it according to your location.
