Is it possible to load my VPN to my Arris Modem and route it through a VPN router to cover all devices in my house? If so, are there instructions somewhere to load the VPN to the modem? Are there any special things I need to do in order for this to work?

No. The SB8200 is a modem only device. You can’t load a VPN to a modem. You’d load that to the router. check with which VPN you prefer and they usually have a list of recommended routers.
