The SB8200 is a plug-and-play device without any Wi-Fi features. If you have a router to connect it with, you should first activate the modem. Since your provider is Xfinity, you can use their self-activation method through their mobile app. Once the modem is activated, the SB8200 will appear on the Xfinity app.
