Got a new modem. I can not get docsis3.1. isp did lots of checks and said I'm not receiving all the channels. Tried reset many times, tried factory reset. Contacting Arris is IMPOSSIABLE since they can't validate my serial number on my NEW modem.
Should I take it back and try another brand? If yes, who makes a good cable modem...thanks.

To verify if your modem is receiving DOCSIS 3.1, log in to the modem’s interface. The Connection page should appear by default. Navigate to the Product Information section and check the Standard Specification Compliance field. Please check If it shows DOCSIS 3.1or DOCSIS 3.0.
+41Take it back. I’d look at the S34 from Arris or CM3000/CM2500 from netgear.
Both support next gen speeds and >1gig speeds.
