On my SB8200 when I go to 192.168.100.1 and login, it pops up a window saying you need to login first.  I click Close and it takes me back to login screen.  I cant get in. I’m wanting to check the logs today see why my modem reboots constantly. I did a modem reset and still does the sane thing. I tried accessing modem from an iPhone, iPad and computer using safari and chrome with all the same issues.

Hello Rubberman

                              SB8200 is just a cable modem so to access interface we would suggest you to try on direct connection without router. Before accessing interface restart modem then try on login to the interface using default login credentials.
                                          On the Login page, enter admin in the Username field.
                                          Enter password or the last 8 digit of the serial number in the Password field then click the Login button

 Let us know if this helps.

Dear did this resolevd the reboot issue ?

No. Actually now when I go to 192.168.100.1 it goes to blank screen. Nothing displays not even the login. I think this modem is almost toast. It still works providing internet tho. I may have to reset it again…

@Rubberman

Thank you -Actually we are facing reboot issue with Arris modem so that’s why I asked.

Our modem is rebooting when its connected with Cisco FW and our ISP is not willing to help on this ,

Our previous cable modem was working fine and they are not even willing to give us the old modem back .

Hello Rubberman,

We understand that you are unable to login on modem as it gives a blank screen , could you check by restarting the computer/laptop which is hardwired to the modem .

Check if there is a flashing green/orange light at the ethernet port (back of the modem ) if not then try using a different ethernet cable .

Let us know if this works .
