Last September my old modem stopped working so I purchased a Arris SB8200. For the last few months we have experienced numerous dropped connections. It is now being dropped even a few times a day.

At first the lower earth symbol would start blinking. Now it stays on like it should but is getting almost to hot to touch. I did a search for cause and this model was the first thing to pop up. Overheating was a large issue.

We purchased the modem from Best Buy on 09-22-23. According to this web site there is a two year limited warranty.

What can be done to get this modem replaced or fixed?

We look forward to hearing back.

Thanks

Rob Garrison
