My SB8200 is connecting to my new router, but is not giving it a new IP address. How do I activate the external router provision on the modem?

One thing to keep in mind is the SB8200 has 2x ethernet ports. but most ISP’s only support 1 public ip address. meaning only 1 device can be connected to it.
So try this.
power off the modem and router for around 10 minutes.
power the modem back on and give it a couple minutes to fully boot.
Then connect it back to the router and power the router back on.
Give it a couple minutes.
Attempt setup on the router.
