Security search revealed vulnerability due to open port -- how do I close it?

You have the SB8200? There’s nothing to change on it settings wise. Its a modem only device.

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps

My Security Scan flagged that the Arris (W30) is accessible from the internet so I assume it wants me to close those ports?
