Hope there are users who can help gather information so that we can get routers that work. When I say “work”, this is irt accessing the 192.168.100.1 webinterface of the SB8200 Cable Modem through the router.
Working
Linksys EA6900
Not working
Linksys MR2000 (MR20EC) Ver. 1.1.5.210166
So please list your router/SB8200 combination and state “working” or “not working” wrt accessing the SB8200 webinterface through the router (not a direct connect to the SB8200).
Thanks

Any router with a WAN (Internet) port can work with the SB8200 modem. However, each router has its own configuration process. If you're unable to connect to the modem’s interface through the router, you may need to adjust the WAN settings in the router’s interface.
As a workaround to access the SB8200 web interface through the router, please refer to the below link:

Thank you. However, I have already performed that voo doo magic and it did not work. The only thing that did work was a direct connect.
Hence the request for routers that will work without having the user do all sorts of “work around” which implies a flaw in the design that will not be fixed. In the real world we call it the “oh well, live with it” syndrome.
