New modem. Power ligh5 comes on, but no internet light comes on at all

Is it connecteed to the coax and provisioned by your isp? 
Are they able to see it/provision it?

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
