Question: I’m on Xfinity and want to reset my modem. Will I have to activate it again afterwards, or will it work based on the MAC? I’m asking because the default admin password doesn’t work. I tried 2 different browsers and get the same result.

Based on what I read, he just needs to go back to the default password and then set it to what he wants.

Resetting it should not cause any issues. I’ve done it just to clear the event log.
