sb8200 compatibale with xfinity

So I just got an Sb8200. Apparently Xfinity is telling me it’s not compatible even though on their website it says it supports it. Can anyone confirm if this is true?

The SB8200 is compatible with Comcast/Xfinity Internet Service Provider.

I’ve had one connected to xfinity. 

I’d try a different rep or try activating through their app

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps

I use one currently w/Xfinity. It might depend on the service level you’re soliciting from Xfinity. I would think 800 or less should work. I have 500.
