Hi! I recently upgraded my ISP plan to go from 400mbps to 800mbps down. After trouble shooting directly with my ISP and my router, I still receive the same speeds (~400mbps down). I have tried testing my speeds on different devices and different locations. Is there anything I can do directly with my Surfboard Modem or settings I can configure? I don’t have a device right now that has an ethernet port that I can directly plugin to the modem to check speeds from there. Thank you!

Hello mstrong1507,
The device that you have is a cable modem to check on the speed we need to connect modem directly to computer /laptop (ethernet port) as it will clearly show the wired speed that the modem provides .
The speed that you had mentioned is of wireless which the Router that had been connected to the modem .
With the help of computer /laptop (ethernet port)we can understand the speed of the modem .
Do arrange for the computer/laptop (ethernet port ) and check the speed .
