Arris surfboard sb8200 connected with service provider and double checked - registered modem and still no internet

Could you let us know the LED light status on the modem?
May I know who is your internet service provider?
I would suggest connecting a modem to a computer through an Ethernet cable to access the internet, since it is a cable modem and there is no inbuilt wifi in it.
