My SB8200 kept losing connection and now will no longer reconnect. I have went through the power cycles, hard resets, and replaced the coax cable. It feels like it’s running hot in-spite of being out in the open and has been moved away from everything. I have xfinity gigabit internet and was told that it was compatible. What can I do to get this modem replaced as I haven’t had it that long

Could you please confirm your exact speed plan and specify the current status of the LED lights on your modem, as it’s not connecting to the internet?
Also, when you mentioned that the device is running hot, is it uncomfortably hot to the touch almost unbearable? Please note that electronic devices do tend to get warm during operation.
