SB8200 Xfinity only 1 upstream locked channel

My SB8200 and SB6183 only get one upstream locked channel at 35.6Mhz. I see many posters have 4 locked upstream channels. How have other folks resolved this issue?

Also the SB8200 on power-cycle takes 18 minutes to lock the upstream channel. The upstream channel tests 16.4, 22.8, 29.2 at different send power levels, till it reaches 35.6 and acquires lock. Has anybody else faced this problem.

My service is for 100Mbps upload speed but I get 20Mbps due to one channel.

Usually, all the downstream and upstream channels should be in locked status. And the upload speed maximum the ISP offered was up to 40 Mbps.

I would suggest checking upload speed plan with internet service provider.

My cable was damaged by rodent where the shielding was partially chewed up in a 3 inch segment. Splicing the damaged segment gave me 4 locked channels. But the speed did not improve. I have to check with ISP next.

Usually, Upload speed would be 40 to 50 Mbps.

100Mbps upload is only for NexGen plan, which is not compatible with SB8200.
