Does the SB8200v2 still support Link Aggregation? Just replaced a VERY old SB8200 hardware v4 with a new SB8200 and its a SB8200v2 hardware version 1. The firmware that came with it is TB01.01.001.05_012122_212.0A Am I out of luck or just waiting for my ISP to upgrade it to the latest (2.X) firmware.
Hello BadSamaritan
SB8200 v2 will also support Link aggregation and There isn’t a way. the firmware is part of the provisioning and is pushed by the Internet service provider. Nothing the end user can update. You can use the link below to check the steps for link aggregation,

Thanks for the answer. So i’m waiting on the ISP then as i figured. Just seems strange that a “new” modem would have the old firmware without the feature, but who knows how long it was on the shelf.
Thanks
For every modem after activation the firmware will be updated and that will be new latest version firmware so nothing to worry about that after activation you will be getting all possible available option on the modem to setup.
Modem was activated on Aug 12th. There are no signs of a firmware update push by RCN/Astound. Not seeing anything in the event log that remotely looks like it’s even trying to pull an update. Nothing similar to what i saw on the old SB8200 hw rev 4 i was using before. .
Error(4) "SW upgrade Failed after download - Incompatible SW file"
Notice(6) "SW Download INIT - Via Config file R1000_50-1-CM8200A"
NOTE: I was getting those SW update failures on restart and daily failed NMS pushes since March on the old SB8200. So i decided it was probably time to get an updated modem since it wasn’t likely to get an update.
