I have had my internet and Arris installed for a grand total of 7 days and I am infuriated. The router reboots randomly. Had Xfinity out, they say Arris is not great and it's not their signals. When it comes back up, it is so slow. I ran a speed test, it didn't complete the test. I see a red error message from Ookla. "UPLOAD TEST ERROR" A socket error  occurred during the upload test. A firewall could be blocking the connection or the server might be having issues." I am not a network tech and have no idea where/how to start finding network logs, etc. 

 

In this case to help you on this further could you please help us with your current speed plan and are you testing speed on direct connection or using router?

what ethernet cable you are using to check the speed?
