I have a SB8200 with a net gear router. I am experiencing very slow speeds with my Xfinity account. I have a 500mbps account. Xfinity says there is no problem coming in to the house. I was wondering how I could tell if it was my modem on my router that is only giving me about 10 MBPS?

To determine the slow speed issue, connect the SB8200 directly to the computer using an Ethernet cable and run a speed test. If you are still experiencing the issue, please check the cable signal levels to ensure they are within the acceptable range. Cable signal levels refer to the strength and quality of the signals being transmitted to and from a cable modem.

Please refer to the link below for instructions on how to check the signal levels.
