slow speeds internet connection on SB8200

I have a SB2000 modem connected directly to my pc, Spectrum sending 1 gig SB2000 only allows 300mpbs is there an update to fix this?

Usually if you’re hardwired to the modem and getting reduced speeds its 1 of 2 things.

they provisioned it incorrectly (seen it happen)
The line has issues. Tough to know without screensnips of the cable connections page and event logs.

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps

3rd option I forgot. It could be the device you’re testing on. Always worth checking too.
