I did a factory reset because i couldn’t find my notes on the password i had created and the passwords online were not working.

I disconnected the coax before the factory reset.  Tried logging in….browser says it can’t reach it even though i am connected to it via CAT 7.

I am getting this error:   PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

I have tried both Edge and Firefox.

I connected the coax and get online but still cannot get to the login page of the modem.  I want to confirm the mHz that it is operating at to make sure it is in the acceptable range for Comcast.

To help isolate the issue, disconnect all cables from the modem, including the coaxial cable. Then, connect only the power cable and use an Ethernet cable to link the modem directly to a computer. This allows you to communicate with the modem without any external interruptions.

Note: Without the coaxial cable connected, the LED light status will typically show — Power: Solid, Receive: Blinking, Send: Off, Online: Off. Even without an internet connection, you should still be able to access the modem’s interface.

With this LED status, check if you can reach the interface page.

If successful, reconnect the coaxial cable while keeping the interface page open. Once all LED lights turn solid, refresh the interface to confirm that the page remains accessible and that the internet connection is active.
