Trying to set up user name & WiFi for SB8200

For your information, the SB8200 is a cable modem and does not include any Wi-Fi features. It is a plug-and-play device. If you are setting up the SB8200, you will need a separate router to enable Wi-Fi, as the router provides the Wi-Fi functionality.
If you are activating a new SB8200, you could using the self-activation method through the Xfinity app.

SB8200v3. Spent several hours trying to work out with xfinity yesterday and no luck. I was connected but wasn’t able to set up a user name & password. The info they arris machine came with didn’t work.
