unable to connect Wi-Fi in SB8200

I just bought the 3.1 surfboard and i called my cable company and it’s hooked up. But I’m having trouble with setting up the wifi. Any pointers or simple solutions?

Like @LoveMyLab is hinting at, the SB8200 is a modem only. It has zero router capability. 

You need a router connected to it for wifi

This is posted under SB8200, which is a modem only. Is that what you purchased? What router model do you have?

I use: SB8200 > Omada ER605/SG2016P/Software Controller/EAP610's.

I have the SB8200. Very capable unit.  What are you using for a router. 

 

I use: SB8200 > Omada ER605/SG2016P/Software Controller/EAP610's.

Current setup: Netgear CM3000-->Netgear RBE973S-->2.5gig tp-link switch, Xfinity 2.4gig/350mbps
